I agree with most of the reviewers that this belt is a very good purchase considering the price and quiality. I ordered a size M and it was tight but i like I still have room to tighten up. I've been wearing it for 5 days and havealready seen a difference. The downside is it has a strong odor at first but it goes away later. And if you have a long torso, it might be a little short for you. None of those bothers me so I still gives 5 stars. This was delivered to me on the said date. The belt is made of very good material, velcro snaps were good too. I wear a size 10-12 pre-pregnancy and gained 30 lbs. during pregnancy. I am 2 weeks post partum and able to wear it while standing up but uncomfortable when seating I might need to lose more weight. The hip belt is way too small. I love this product! Having three pieces really allows you to customize the placement exactly where and how you need it. Feels secure and hugs my body very comfortably. The only negative is that it's SO supportive that I can't sit and nurse with it on, I feel too restricted. Otherwise sitting with it on is no issue, just somehow the nursing position for me doesn't work. Overall it's a great item and I'm already spreading the word to the new moms I know. I can't speak to the results you get from it yet, but so far I like it! Oh and it doesn't look like a big mess under my clothes. The first time I ordered this product it was in a medium. Upon opening the package the first thing I noticed was a small red stain on the outside part of the product. It looked like a drop of blood. I was pretty grossed out but also disappointed because the product itself seemed great. The material was light weight and seemed comfortable. Before putting it back in the bag, I tried it on to see if the size even fit, and it didn't. I reordered in a large and that one fits perfectly. The new one came with zero stains on it and I am satisfied with the product. It sucks everything in nicely and helped relieve the pain from my csection incision. My back instantly relaxed when I put it on, and my posture is much better when nursing, which means less shoulder aches. It theory it's a great product but the parts are not labeled, and the sizing is not good. The only directions you get are pictures of women wearing the parts for each stage, but it is impossible to tell some of the parts apart and also to tell which way is the top or bottom. Also a few pointers on the best time frame for daily wear but they were clearly not written in English first and are a bit confusing. It also recommends wearing it for almost a year post birth but is not really comfortable for long term wear. |

A must have especially for the price! I wouldn't have been able to get around those first few weeks without them. Helped sooo much with the incision of a csection and the back pain. Wear a tank or shirt underneath it bc if can pinch your skin. Be sure to put them on in the correct order. Three peices total. First piece will be the one with only one large Velcro in the front. The other two have peices have the large Velcro in the front plus two addition side straps with Velcro for extra support. The second peice will be the larger with the side straps. The last piece will be the smallest with side straps. All three can be layered on top of each other. It's a learning curve to put on at first. Lean your back against a wall when putting each peice on to help support yourself and get a snug Velcro. They aren't bulky under a lose top. |
