I have to say, I bought this with the intention of wearing it after birth for pure vanity reasons... however I don't know how I could of done without it! I feel like the back support it provides was even more worth it than for vanity. I didn't wear it until I left the hospital (2 days) and you only start with the bottom piece at first, then a week postpartum add the upper piece, etc... the fabric doesn't bother me, it's soft. This shapewear is FIRM in all the expected places. Didn't roll down the belly. Was RELATIVELY comfortable... and by that I mean shapewear is by definition going to shape you so it may take a minute to breath!! LOL | Tag: best girdle for post pregnancy

Fits wonderfully well. I used to wear M (2-4) before I got pregnant. Postpartum, throughout week 1 I had to wear XL or L. This belt was a god-send. I'm at week 3 postpartum and can wear most of my old clothes with this belt compressing my tummy.I the best abdominal belt post pregnancy |

While the fit is small, I'm 150lbs, 5'3", waist 30", and I got a medium, I like these shorts a lot! I had hoped they'd act more like spandex to wear under skirts/dresses, but they didn't quite meet expectations because the legs ride up. |

This thing is horrible, no way ti can fit anyone who inst teeny tiny. I t was so uncomfortable I only wore it once |

Due to pain after c-section I couldn't where till a week and half but it works and helped lots with back pain and sleeping on my side. It kept everything in place and shrink my abdomen greatly. I wore over a undergarment as material for me was uncomfortable but nothing major. |

I'm 5' 5" and 160lbs. I had bought a pair at the Mall in Large, but they were not comfortable, so returned them without being able to get a larger size. Then I came here to buy a size up to XL and this works perfectly. Very comfortable and smoothing. If you want to give this a try, I suggest looking at the chart, but buying a size up. |

Don't buy this if you're looking for something that is good for your waist and to cover some of your butt/thighs. It rolls up on the legs so that you're basically wearing it like the underwear version of this shapewear. It rolls down from the top but not significantly, it seems to stay mostly in place when I wear it, the only problem is that it has a gluey rubbery strip around the top so to help itl stay up by sticking to your body and it does get a little uncomfortable sometimes. Overall, does do decently for sucking in the belly a little bit if you're wearing it under a dress or skirt. |
