I ordered a size medium based on their sizing chart. My hips measured 39 inches so I thought a medium would be perfect. Wrong! I couldn't pull it past my thighs. I ordered the 2xl size which is a size larger than what I normally wear on bottom. Unless you have 4 hands or someone around to help you get it up to your waist, you will have had your workout by the time you manage it. Realizing that the purpose is to smooth things out - you know those rolls us gals get - it does in effect do that - IF you can tolerate the squishing. Fits wonderfully well. I used to wear M (2-4) before I got pregnant. Postpartum, throughout week 1 I had to wear XL or L. This belt was a god-send. I'm at week 3 postpartum and can wear most of my old clothes with this belt compressing my tummy. |

Purchased this not knowing what to expect as I hadn't used or even seen a postpartum belt before. I ended up loving it! While the three pieces seem a little strange, it is nice to have it go all the way up the torso, as some belts only wrap the stomach area. At 180 pounds right before delivery, the belt only barely fit around me the next day after delivery (not sure what my weight was then). If you plan on using this for slimming purposes be aware the Velcro ends can be seen under clothing. |
