I recently gained 15 pounds due to my birth control and have been trying to lose it (unfortunately stopping the birth control did not help). I have lost 9 pounds so far but I still wanted a little control under my clothing so that it did not seem that noticeable while I try to shed the last 6 pounds. There is a little boning at the top to prevent it from curling (I'm assuming). This could use a little more reinforcement as I've had this and worn it for about 10 hours total so far and one of the 'bones' has found it's way out already:( I also wish the shorts were a tad bit longer. XL fits my size 16 frame. The shorts kinda ride up but don't show through jeans/pants. It works! People asked me if I lost weight. :-) Only issue is taking it down to use the bathroom... I ended up pulling to the side to do #1 as I do with a swimsuit to avoid spending 10 minutes in the bathroom. You'd have to take it off for #2. |

I spent SO MUCH TIME trying to find a good post partum girdle - there are so many mixed reviews and fake reviews here on amazon these days. Some are really cheap and others really expensive so I decided to try this one first before going for something super pricey. Well to my pleasant surprise this works great! I have no need to buy another and it's adjustable so it will last for awhile as my waist continues to shrink. The one thing that's annoying is you can't really wear this while sitting down, but that goes for anything similar. I also wish they had it in black as well so it could be more discrete |

I bought this to wear with a VERY form-fitting dress. I am not fat by any means, but I do have a tummy pouch where I keep all my cookies. It made my gross lumps look like soft curves. I was shocked! I freaking love shapewear. This one in particular was very comfortable and I hardly noticed it after I put it on. It stayed in place very well and I didn't have to adjust it through the night like I had to do with some of the other shapewear that I've used in the past. It's hardly noticeable under clothes so you'll have everyone thinking you woke up like this. |

I bought this shapewear in anticipation of my first wedding dress fitting and wasted my money. Don't get me wrong... I'm sure it works great... With certain body types. I am 5'4" 135 pounds and I was looking for a little something to suck in the little bit of tummy I have since my dress is form fitting. What I didn't anticipate is that this piece completely covered up my natural hourglass shape as soon as I put it on. My nicely defined waistline turned into a very blah, box-like body shape. Don't waste your money on this if you're an hourglass shape! Go with the corset. |
