Definitely worth the purchase - helped me be more mobile faster holding everything in place. My first pregnancy I didn't have this and it really would have made a difference. It is however a little on the large size (for me 3/4 women's 7 junior pre-pregnancy size) I ended up velcroing on to portions of the waistband that didn't have the other part of the velcro so it started to get a little fuzzy. And like some of the other reviewers the wiring did buckle a little but I found that I had them in the wrong order, after the fix it was ok - directions are hard to follow as 2 of the pics look the same. The first time I used it, I wanted to wrap it as tightly as I could to make me look thinner, but that wasn't a good idea. Throughout the day it rolled up, and I kept having to adjust it. Even when I adjusted it so it wasn't too tight, it still kept riding up throughout the day, but it didn't bother me too much. Every time I used to bathroom, I just readjusted it. Shipping was very fast. Item arrived before the estimated date. The product was in an open bag without the tags attached. I am assuming this means that the item was a return from a previous purchase. A little disheartening to receive an item that was not brand new yet pay the price for some thing new. The item fits a bit large. Purchased this not knowing what to expect as I hadn't used or even seen a postpartum belt before. I ended up loving it! While the three pieces seem a little strange, it is nice to have it go all the way up the torso, as some belts only wrap the stomach area. At 180 pounds right before delivery, the belt only barely fit around me the next day after delivery (not sure what my weight was then). Works great but I wish it was longer. I am 5'6" and I have to sacrifice some room on the top or bottom when I wear it. I got a large and otherwise it fits great. I wish it was not as easy to see under clothes though, the Velcro parts kinda stick out. |
