I really like the quality and comfort of this. I bought the size 10-12 and it smoothed me out comfortably but it did not suck me in and make my figure look dramatically different. Had I ordered a smaller size I would have gotten those results which I was looking for. I was easily able to just step right into it without any tugging or working it into place. Just bought two more of these! I had liposuction of my abs/hips/back and this holds me in better than the stage 2 garments my doctor provides. And it gives you a really nice figure. Size chart is accurate, but even before my procedure, I was able to fasten easily enough to the 3rd row of hooks, so I definitely ordered a size smaller this time. If I'm not struggling to get in it, then it's not controlling my stuff enough. ?? So if you're like me, order one based on the size chart and then another one a size smaller. That way you have one for everyday wear and one for those special occasions when you want the ultimate Max control. This arrived about 15 minutes ago. I was so excited to try it on. I am super happy with it. I read a bunch of reviews and I always hate that no one puts their own measurements in, they just say it didn't fit, which doesn't help someone who is trying to figure out their size. So, I ordered a 12-14 and it fits excellently. I am an athletic but overweight 190#, 5'6", and I measure 42-33-43. I have recently had 2 babies and put on 40#, so I have been buying all kinds of shape wear while I work on my will to eat better an exercise. Even though I've just tried this on, I can tell it will be my favorite and probably the only piece I will wear. It does make me look less curvy and takes away the definition of my waist some, but that's a small price to pay when it completely hides my abominable new muffin tops. I am giving it 3 stars for now, because it came with a few defects. I will update this review in a week or a month etc, to say how it is holding up to use. However, even if this only lasts me a few months of regular use, 22$ is an awesome deal compared to other brands and styles of shapewear, NONE of which actually do what I want them to, which is not ride up by butt crack, and not roll down my ribs, and not make huge fat rolls on my back beneath my armpits. I find sone shapewear almost makes me look worse because it creates problems instead of hiding them. This suit is perfect, hides everything and doesn't create any problems. The next time I wore it, I wore my corset under it! The corset reduces my waist to 38", but of course the corset itself adds some bulk & there is upward & downward displacement. I didn't have nearly as much trouble getting the lower panty portion on the 2nd time. I think it stretched nicely, the corset may have helped too though usually I wouldn't have expected it too. Fastening the hooks was a bit easier. Most importantly for me, it helped keep my corset in place - it has a tendency to slide up over time because of how I'm shaped & this stopped that entirely! It helped keep the bottom in place without pushing sharply into my skin. I realize most will not understand how exciting this is, but its freaking huge for me. |

I was unsure of this product, especially due to the low price point. I was wrong. It is amazing! I seriously love this. The three separate pieces allow me to customize the support worn and the elastic velcro has allowed for adjustments to my changing waistline. I could barely get it on after delivery and eight weeks postpartum, am extra glad for the ability to tighten or loosen with each wearing. The fabric isn't pretty-after all this is a medical purposed garment, but it is thick, sturdy and of quality. It has really helped my stomach muscles 'remember' to stand straight and hold in my stomach, now that there is no longer a watermelon in front of me. I love this support band. Buy it! You will be happy you did. |

Compared to some of the other Postpartum Girdles I've had or seen, this one is more complex and does not hide well under clothing as some others. Would probably recommend getting something much more simpler. |
