Ordered this as soon as I found out I was having a c-section. After reading reviews, I decided to order a size up, which worked well for me, but still seems a little small. At first I really liked this product but a few weeks after using it the spines in the first belt started to mold to my body making it push into my ribs and to be uncomfortable. The other belts are still fine but they don't stay in place well. If I put them all on and then just stood there, they would stay. I find myself having to readjust them all the time. Over all this product in not expensive so it's not terrible. But I don't wear the first belt at all any more because it's uncomfortable now. | Tag:

I didn't use this much because it wasn't as necessary as i thought. but it did help keep me from feeling like my belly was a deflated balloon. and it helped my back adjust to breastfeeding with all the bending and leaning i was doing. I imagine this would be a lifesaver for someone who had a cesarean. |

I was extremely skeptical when purchasing this product, but it is pretty amazing. I am 10 weeks postpartum and was overweight prior to my pregnancy. At this point, I am only reviewing this product from a shape-wear perspective as I have not had it long enough to experience any long term effects. The item is fairly comfortable considering it is the Velcroed equivalent of a corset. Although the instructions advise not to wear it on bare skin, I have done so without an issue. You can see it a little if you are wearing something very tight, but hey - it's better than clearly visible fat rolls. This product definitely improves posture as it is very structured. It has actually minimized my back pain. But the true miracle is the slimming effect. Please see pictures below... It is pretty obvious which one I am wearing this belt in, and I assure you I am letting it all hang out in both images. From yikes to yay!!! |

I got these 1-2 weeks postpartum. I had a 2nd time c section and diastasis recti. I was longing for sleep on the side but too afraid my organs would move around when i turn. so this gridle helped. At first it was stiff - which i like because it helped to flatten my belly, i wore this 24/7, the belly was noticable flatter, then took it off for one day for my body to relax (wearing this is very tight and restrictive sometimes), but then my belly went back to big. So i kinda have to keep this one to keep it tight. Now it's been my 6th week. With my hunching sometimes, the girdle is starting to loose its shape meaning the top and bottom ends crunched up a little. and it also slides up. I have a "droopy" belly, so my bottom muffin top hangs out and bent my incision a bit. I had to add a lower body belly band (http://www.amazon.com/Its-You-Babe-Cradle-136-180/dp/B000I615Q4?ie=UTF8&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_28) to cover my incision area first, then wear this on top. |

Great postpartum support belt. I wore it about 4 months after having a emergency c section. It comes in 3 pieces. So you have the flexibility to wear all pieces or just one. Whatever you want to do. |
