I just received this item today. My son isn't due for another two weeks, which means I cannot offer testimony as to whether it's a miracle product for reigning my pregnancy gut back in or how comfortable it is, but I can say it seems to be a well-made, sturdy product...even better than I'd expected for the price actually! but sometimes when I sit the Velcro pops off and I have to lift my shirt to redo the belt- not practical. There are 3 pieces but if you use all 3, it's very bulky and obvious. The one piece that is large and flat I recommend that you wear backwards and Velcro it at your lower back. This way your entire abdomen is cinched in. The skinny belt, wear under the bra line as normal. The one large bulky belt can be used to sleep (I take this off to shower and sleep. If you can tolerate sleeping in it, it's better for you). I will continue to use this while in the house and use my "mother tucker" shirt when I have to run errands. I recommend belly binding as a way to help your waist return to normal quicker but I can't recommend this belt because the major flaw is keeping it shut. I intend to bind for 4-6 weeks.

Not a great belly band at all. It has an awkward fit and it sweezes my midsection but the upper and lower parts of my stomach are bulging out with no band the cover it all adequately. I've only had and worn this for a few days but I really like it so far. you can basically make it as tight/loose as you want. Flexible enough to sit in. I wear it around the house as much as possible. have not seen any results as far as loosing inches but like I said I have only worn for a couple of days. Sizes seem to run small, so I'm disappointed that I can't really use this yet. Although I could've returned it and gotten a larger size, the optimist in me says I'll be the smaller size soon, so I can just wait and use it later. That being said, once it's on, the added straps really do tighten around the waist. Definitely designed well and made very sturdy. |
