Edit to add to original review after used product: I've been using this postpartum belt for 3 weeks. I have used it daily starting 2 days post partum. You can tighten it as much as you like. Beware the Velcro loses its "stick" after a week. Abdominal binding has tremendously improved facilitating my muscles coming together and my uterus contract. Really tight around the ribs, but ladies, isn't this what we're going for? I got this to tuck in my tiny bit of tummy pudge and slim my hips. It definitely slims my hips, but when you slim one part, it has to go somewhere, right? I think in an effort to slim my hips, it pushes everything to the front and back of me, making me smooth and rounded and more cylindrical in shape - my profile doesn't look as thin as it usually does.But that's life. I ordered a size large. I usually wear a size 12-14 (pre-pregnancy) & it barely comes together in the front. The scratchy velcro rubs on my belly. But I am only a week post partum so I am hoping it might fit me a bit better in a month or two. I did wear it for 2 days straight (only taking it off at night) & already noticed a difference, but decided to still wait a few more weeks because I felt a bit bruised after wearing on top of already feeling pretty sore after delivery. These change my LIFE! I have tried dang near every shaper you can imagine in the past year!!! Post c section I have the dreaded mummy tummy/c section "shelf"!!!! Plastic surgery is NOT in my future. Shipping was very fast. Item arrived before the estimated date. The product was in an open bag without the tags attached. I am assuming this means that the item was a return from a previous purchase. I am unsure if this is how it fits or if it was stretched before I received it. |
