This band gives a good amount of support. I especially like the extra Velcro straps/flaps that pulls it all together. Unfortunately I found the band restricting and bulky, especially while breastfeeding. Because of this I only used it a few times and now it's sitting in my drawer. Update: so this company has been emailing me ever since I wrote my initial review above. I've copy/pasted the latest and third email I got from them below. They are highly unethical! They want me to remove my review or give higher grade in exchange for my money back or another girdle. I responded to the first two emails stating that if they gave me my money back that I would remove the review as one of my complaints was that I couldn't return it.
