I wore this after a c-section for the first few outings. I started wearing it 3 days after surgery. Compared to my other c-sections, I could really tell a difference while wearing this. It provided amazing support. It didn't hurt as much going over bumps in the road, railroad tracks, etc. It also helped me get up and down easier and helped me not feel like my insides were falling out. I did not wear this to "loose my tummy", I simply wanted the extra support. It is 3 pieces and takes a little bit to get on. It fastens with velcro so it would fit many different shapes and sizes. I really wish they had different sizes in these, because I could barely get two of the pieces on. The third piece that goes around the hips wasn't even close to fitting, but I have large hips. It's also kind of itchy, especially if you sweat at all while wearing it. | Tag:

I ordered a size large. I usually wear a size 12-14 (pre-pregnancy) & it barely comes together in the front. The scratchy velcro rubs on my belly. But I am only a week post partum so I am hoping it might fit me a bit better in a month or two. I did wear it for 2 days straight (only taking it off at night) & already noticed a difference, but decided to still wait a few more weeks because I felt a bit bruised after wearing on top of already feeling pretty sore after delivery. This belt is AMAZING! I've always known that I had abdominal muscle separation after my pregnancies, but I figured there was nothing I could really do about it. I've recently learned, however, that it's never too late to close the gap, so I've set about to attempt to do so. One thing that I've read that was recommended was to "splint" the muscles to help train everything back to where it's supposed to be. The first time I wore this belt set, the support was just amazing. It forces you into proper posture, particularly when sitting, but it's so gentle at the same time. I am wearing the belly belt alone to do my belly exercises, and then add the other two belts just to go about my business. I've noticed some relief of some mild but persistent back pain simply from the support into proper posture. Moreover, after just a couple of days of doing this, I find I'm naturally holding my muscles closer to where they need to be without really thinking about it, which makes my belly look flatter already. I have a feeling this thing is going to be my best friend for some time to come. |
