This works perfectly to keep my tummy in place postpartum. I like how there are different layers to put ontop of each other depending on how far I am postpartum. It is quick durable to keep me upright and have my tummy tucked in while at the same time flexible enough to bend over if needed. Sometimes i even forget i'm even wearing it. I felt like it was a waist trainer in the end and I think I saw a difference. I got these 1-2 weeks postpartum. I had a 2nd time c section and diastasis recti. I was longing for sleep on the side but too afraid my organs would move around when i turn. so this gridle helped. At first it was stiff - which i like because it helped to flatten my belly, i wore this 24/7, the belly was noticable flatter, then took it off for one day for my body to relax (wearing this is very tight and restrictive sometimes), but then my belly went back to big. So i kinda have to keep this one to keep it tight. Now it's been my 6th week. With my hunching sometimes, the girdle is starting to loose its shape meaning the top and bottom ends crunched up a little. and it also slides up. I have a "droopy" belly, so my bottom muffin top hangs out and bent my incision a bit. I purchased two different support belts to help fix diastasis recti post partom. This one is way better. It is better at pulling everything in and is more comfortable and more supportive. I still have to readjust it every hour or so, but I'm constantly moving around and then sitting down to nurse. It's true that nursing isn't comfortable, but skipping out on the underwire and using a nursing sleep bra is helpful and nursing is still doable. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. I love this girdle. It's a little bulky, and the "lumps" can be noticed through clothing, but I didn't purchase it to be fashionable. I purchased it to press my stomach muscles back where they are supposed to be after giving birth. The wraps were all well made. I used mine for about 2 months after the birth of my second child. It's alot of material so it will look bulky under most clothes. I wouldn't call it comfortable...I had to remove it every time I was breastfeeding. I did feel tighter after wearing it. Would use again. |

I'm 5'9 and 225lb postpartum. I ordered the large and it is tight though that is the whole point. It really is quite comfortable. It helps with my back pain postpartum while I'm up walking around. I don't like wearing it while sitting though. |
