I needed to buy one of these for a costume. A costume in which I needed to have a relatively muscular male physique. I needed something that would give the illusion of a smooth chest rather than any hint of a "muffin top". (My muffin top was more apparent when I wore my chest binder). My costume has baggy clothing though, so I knew I was going to be okay if I bought this. Keep in mind that I'm a 16 year old girl, 5'3, 135 lbs. The boyshort shape makes me feel like I'm wearing a pair of shorts under my outfit, this isn't so bulky that it feels like a diaper (unlike some tummy control products), it's stretchy and comfortable, and shapes my tummy nicely. Highly recommend this this postpartum. I was incredibly stressed out about my 2 week postpartum belly, distended after having twins. I wore the top two pieces (never used the hip one) 24 hours a day for almost a week and dropped 2 inches from my stomach. I continued to wear it nightly for another week and lost another inch. After awhile I just started wearing it on the night before I needed my belly to look flatter. Once I was down to a 29ish inch waist the product was too loose to be helpful, and frankly the Velcro was worn and wouldn't hold well. I ordered this to help keep everything in place after pregnancy. I am 2 months postpartum and sometimes forget that I'm not quite back to my pre-pregnancy body. I ordered a small just like I would have before I was pregnant and it is somewhat to small. Currently I am 5'5" and 138lbs. I should have ordered the medium. Take note that this is "Light Control" so don't expect it to be like a corset. It doesn't necessarily suck everything in, it just smooths out the lumps and bumps, which is perfect for postpartum use! I'll be ordering one in black next! :) |
