I love this. I mean you would expect that it would be somewhat uncomfortable for its indented purpose but other then that fact that it's right I love it. But before you Buy this her are few things to consider. It's going to be tight, it's kind of uncomfortable but when you look yourself in the mirror it's worth it. At the same time women used to wear the corset so tight in the old days were they couldn't barely eat I'm just on the hook and eye row one and I'm already eating less which is a good thing just make sure that you're eating. Now that the swelling has gone down a bit, the smaller one fits and it has very good compression in the thigh area, which I like. But I AM a pear shape, so my legs a big and still swollen so the hemline is too tight and gives my fluffy leg a dent and you can see it under my pants. The corset area has very good grip. it has very good compression but I had a little problem with it. The underwear part was too tight in my waist. Before the surgery I didn't notice that, but now, I am trying to avoid dents and folds on my skin, so this was an issue... So what I did is cut a small slit on each side of the upper seam of the underwear (making it fit looser)...and now it works great. This arrived about 15 minutes ago. I was so excited to try it on. I am super happy with it. I read a bunch of reviews and I always hate that no one puts their own measurements in, they just say it didn't fit, which doesn't help someone who is trying to figure out their size. So, I ordered a 12-14 and it fits excellently. I am an athletic but overweight 190#, 5'6", and I measure 42-33-43. I have recently had 2 babies and put on 40#, so I have been buying all kinds of shape wear while I work on my will to eat better an exercise. Even though I've just tried this on, I can tell it will be my favorite and probably the only piece I will wear. It does make me look less curvy and takes away the definition of my waist some, but that's a small price to pay when it completely hides my abominable new muffin tops. I am giving it 3 stars for now, because it came with a few defects. I will update this review in a week or a month etc, to say how it is holding up to use. However, even if this only lasts me a few months of regular use, 22$ is an awesome deal compared to other brands and styles of shapewear, NONE of which actually do what I want them to, which is not ride up by butt crack, and not roll down my ribs, and not make huge fat rolls on my back beneath my armpits. I find sone shapewear almost makes me look worse because it creates problems instead of hiding them. This suit is perfect, hides everything and doesn't create any problems. Great body shaper! I just had a baby 2 months ago via c-section and I have a hernia in my belly button. I needed something to support my belly and keep my hernia inside until I can have surgery. This shaper did the trick. Not to mention the added benifit of looking slimmer. Follow the measurements exactly to buy the right size. Also keep in mind it's supposed to be tight this is not something you just slip on. It's a compression garment. I bought a large, Xtra large, and xxlarge, to accommodate weight loss. It's bulky so I just wear it around the house or under big shirts and sweaters. I feel like it needs to be a little longer to prevent the flaps from falling out your sides above the waist. The product is pretty cool, I really liked the way it hugs your body and gives a support for your back. But it's really uncomfortable by the back. There are these black buttons that poke my back. Also it runs a bit tight by the inner thighs. Makes my inner thighs numb. |
