I got this item in hopes to help me after I had my daughter. However while in hospital after having her I was unable to put it on. I wasn't able to put it on til she was a week or so old. Even then it did not fit right and I had a hard time using it to begin with. I am sure if I was smaller this would have been a great buy. but I am bigger and it didn't fit right. but as everyone knows with having a newborn and school and whatnot I forgot to try and return it. Perhaps my torso is a little too long... These belt did not cover the bit of pooch I had left over- just below my belly button. They are advertised to not roll, but they certainly do. I've only worn mine for about a month and the belt is becoming too loose at the top. It also rides up, and I have to continuously pull the belts back down. It does provide some support, more than the maternity bellyband has postpartum, but at 4 and a half weeks postpartum, I definitely need more abdominal support than what these bands can offer me now. I cant expect much more, considering the price and I dont regret my purchase, since it was much more helpful in the first 2 pp weeks than it is now. This product is actually 3 different belts to be worn in different weeks post partum. I had no concerns about Belt 1 which was for week 1. I added on the 2nd belt and found that the cloth had actually split after about a week of wearing it. I'm sure I got the right size and the whole point of wearing it is is compression & looks like it is not able to handle this. I'm yet to put on Belt 3. | Tag:

The one I got was a size M. I use a size L and I thought it would fit because you can tighten the bands but I couldn't get it to stick to the velcro. If your going to order this get a size 1 or 2 bigger.. |

Pre-pregnancy I wore a size 4-6 top and 6-8 bottom- I ordered the medium and it fit as expected. It was slightly difficult to get done up the first few times (seemed small but fit when pulled) but I quickly got the hang of it. I had a cesarian so the compression felt nice. I also love the boning in the back to help with support/ posture (especially while getting used to bending over a change table). |
