If you follow the sizing guide it fits correctly. I already need to go down a size though so this may not be the best purchase if you want to wear it several months and don't want to buy multiple sizes. Also the item does not come with any directions so you are on your own figuring out how to put it on. You can see it under tight clothing but works well to make your tummy look flat. I have a long torso and would like the item to be longer and cover more of my torso. Although I'm won't be using this until after I deliver, I'm pleased with this purchase. It will fit perfectly for me but I do have a fairly small waist and wear a size 4-6. There are three separate pieces and you can wear one, two or all three depending on how much of your belly you want held in and it's easy to adjust it from a little support to tight enough to make breathing difficult (not the goal, I realize). I put in my pre-pregnancy measurements +2" because I just gave birth 5 days before my order and I gained 50+ lbs in pregnancy. This was WAY too big. I'm still 25lbs heavier, so I'm confused as to how this could possibly run small or even the correct size for anyone. Now I can't even see which size I ordered because the size isn't appearing in my order history. I'm going to reorder with a small or extra small- maybe I ordered a medium? I think it could be a good product if it fit right. Maybe it's because I'm putting in my jean waist size which is lower on my body, so if you're going to order- I'd recommend using a string and wrapping really tight in the smallest part of the waist. I wanted a post-partum girdle after my delivery to help with my diastis rectis and my umbilical hernia. This really did help aliviate the hernia discomfort and helped pull everything in quicker I feel. I ordered the medium size (I was 175 lbs pre-delivery and am normally 135 lbs not pregnant). I feel this size was perfect for me as you can make it smaller. It was comfortable, not too rigid to wear all day even while breastfeeding. It was fairly undetectable under clothing although don't wear something form fitting as it will show. I would recommend it for ladies looking for a little extra midline support after delivery for sure! |
