These are well made and very reasonable in price. They feel a bit tight when first put on but are comfortable after a few minutes. I bought one size up and they are perfect. I like that this postpartum belt set cinches your waist and hips, but you can control how much. It is much more flexible and comfortable than other corsets and shape wear that I own. I can wear it in the summer without getting overheated. Would purchase again, and will definitely use if I have another child. I used this right after I had my child. I felt like all my insides were falling out and had to be held in. This helped me heal a lot faster than without. I love this product. It offers firm compression or limited compression depending on your comfort level. There are three pieces so it's customizable to your size and comfort. They have the large velcrow strap to hold it in place and smaller velcrow straps you can use to shape your body. This product worked fabulously.....for exactly one week to the day. After a week the velcro would no longer hold and it popped open with every move I made. :( Very disappointed in the longevity of the product. Purchased this not knowing what to expect as I hadn't used or even seen a postpartum belt before. I ended up loving it! While the three pieces seem a little strange, it is nice to have it go all the way up the torso, as some belts only wrap the stomach area. At 180 pounds right before delivery, the belt only barely fit around me the next day after delivery (not sure what my weight was then). If you plan on using this for slimming purposes be aware the Velcro ends can be seen under clothing. | Tag:

I'm happy with this product. It's affordable and does it's job. A lot of the reviews did state to buy a bigger size. I went with an extra large. My stomach has gone down so much. I'm 5'5 and my weight at delivery was 185. After delivery I was 173 pounds. I almost went with an large but I'm glad I went with an extra large. My hips started off at off at 44 inches and is now 41 inches. Just giving details for future people trying to pick the correct size. I love this girdle. It's a little bulky, and the "lumps" can be noticed through clothing, but I didn't purchase it to be fashionable. I purchased it to press my stomach muscles back where they are supposed to be after giving birth. I was hesitant to try it over my c-section stiches, but one week postpartum, I was ablessed to comfortably put it on and not disturb anything. |
