I agree with most of the reviewers that this belt is a very good purchase considering the price and quiality. I ordered a size M and it was tight but i like I still have room to tighten up. I've been wearing it for 5 days and havealready seen a difference. The downside is it has a strong odor at first but it goes away later. And if you have a long torso, it might be a little short for you. None of those bothers me so I still gives 5 stars. I ordered a large however it wasn't big enough. It's too tight to wear for a long time. I'm not even sure if during the time I am wearing it if it works. ?? I kinda think it was a waste of money however hopefully I can give it to someone that will have better results. If I had realized 3 in 1 meant 3 in 3, I would have gotten a band like I had with my first- one band that you velcro together. Not a puzzle of bands. I was extremely skeptical when purchasing this product, but it is pretty amazing. I am 10 weeks postpartum and was overweight prior to my pregnancy. At this point, I am only reviewing this product from a shape-wear perspective as I have not had it long enough to experience any long term effects. The item is fairly comfortable considering it is the Velcroed equivalent of a corset. Although the instructions advise not to wear it on bare skin, I have done so without an issue. You can see it a little if you are wearing something very tight, but hey - it's better than clearly visible fat rolls. This product definitely improves posture as it is very structured. It has actually minimized my back pain. But the true miracle is the slimming effect. Please see pictures below... I just delivered on Feb 26 and I bought this before my delivery to use it on the hospital. It barely fit. Im a M-L in regular clothes. I thought it would help and fit as expected. I wanted a post-partum girdle after my delivery to help with my diastis rectis and my umbilical hernia. This really did help aliviate the hernia discomfort and helped pull everything in quicker I feel. I ordered the medium size (I was 175 lbs pre-delivery and am normally 135 lbs not pregnant). I feel this size was perfect for me as you can make it smaller. It was comfortable, not too rigid to wear all day even while breastfeeding. It was fairly undetectable under clothing although don't wear something form fitting as it will show. I like how you can make this as tight as you want but it's bulky and not nearly long enough. I'm 5'8" and when I wear this my post-pregnancy belly either pouches out the top or the bottom depending on how high or low I wear it. The material needs to be thinner and it needs to be longer. |
