All is all, it's tight to keep your "stuff" in. but you'll have to wear loose clothing because it shows the band when you wear tight clothes. I think this is more for waist clincher than a belly band. but i think this is one of the better belly bands out there to help you tighten the belly. I've tried other ones, they're just too soft to keep my belly in. I have a really bad diastasis recti and this keeps it "in" temporarily. This is stiff enough with boning on the back and mesh at the back to make it breathable. Wore it in mid 70's weather still managable. One thing i wish that this is longer and covers more area of my torso so there's not "extra" skin hanging like a muffin top. The opening in the crotch is very open. You are not able to wear under clothes under this comfortably. Using the restroom become a challenge every time taking it all off and on. If your planning on wearing panties over the shapewear it feels awkward. I would recommend them adding a snap closure to cover the private area. This product runs somewhat small but I was able to make it work. So far since using I am seeing an improvement. I can say this I normally have back pain but on the days I wear this I don't feel the pain as much I wonder why. Anyway I wear this under my clothes during the week I normally wear loose fitting comfortable clothes since I do work from home but the other day I wore this under a form fitting dress. Everyone was asking me how did I lose so much weight so fast I couldn't help but laugh. But I noticed how smooth my stomach looked when I put my dress on it was very impressing. The product came packaged nicely also I love the fact that it came with a plastic reusable envelope/bag that I can keep it in for storage when I'm not using it or for when I'm traveling. So far it's great. I have had it only for a few days, so I'm worried about velcro not lasting as others have mentioned. The middle sometimes bunches up, but it's easily adjustable. |

Great body shaper! I just had a baby 2 months ago via c-section and I have a hernia in my belly button. I needed something to support my belly and keep my hernia inside until I can have surgery. This shaper did the trick. Not to mention the added benifit of looking slimmer. Follow the measurements exactly to buy the right size. Also keep in mind it's supposed to be tight this is not something you just slip on. It's a compression garment. I bought a large, Xtra large, and xxlarge, to accommodate weight loss. I gained 50lbs during the pregnancy and I am gradually loosing it but still need that abdominal support. |
