I do prefer the all in one with bra and hook an eye opening. Okay I took a risk in ordering this piece , seeing as it only had 1 review :/ and I'm pleasantly surprised to find that I really love it . I'm 5"2 I am wearing this piece with a waist trainer underneath because it gave me more shape as well as helped tighten the dress around me all together. The dress is a tad too big (I got a small ) but with the waist trainer and bra underneath it fit to perfection at the top , with the laces tightly zipped . The bottom was a disappointment because the dress flares out . Because I was surprised at the quality of this item and how it fit at the top it was no biggie . I am having a friend alter the sides with her sowing machine so it fits tight from top to bottom . It will be hard to dance in but thank god for the slit in the front I can untie the lace and open it up so I can move on the dance floor :)! |

I am 5'6" 200 lbs and I got an XL and it holds me in. What the picture does not show is that there is a extra panel holding in the stomach on the bottom. If you have ever worn a corset before you know the fat is pushed down and make you have a double gut. The extra panel in the front holds me in and makes my stomach flatter and the mesh back flatters my butt and does not smashed it like most shapewear does. In a Bodycon dress or maxi dress you can see the teeth of the corset, I put a thin tight camisole over it to help mask the teeth print. Depending on the thickness of your thighs, it may show where the girdle stops when wearing pants.There are four sets of closures on the corset and I was able to close it on the smallest set. I am losing weight and I will definitely buy another one in a smaller size. |

A must have especially for the price! I wouldn't have been able to get around those first few weeks without them. Helped sooo much with the incision of a csection and the back pain. Wear a tank or shirt underneath it bc if can pinch your skin. Be sure to put them on in the correct order. Three peices total. First piece will be the one with only one large Velcro in the front. The other two have peices have the large Velcro in the front plus two addition side straps with Velcro for extra support. The second peice will be the larger with the side straps. The last piece will be the smallest with side straps. All three can be layered on top of each other. It's a learning curve to put on at first. Lean your back against a wall when putting each peice on to help support yourself and get a snug Velcro. They aren't bulky under a lose top. |

This is not for someone who had liposuction or a tummy tuck. It has no support for the stomach that would help contour the body after surgery. This is just a body shaper.It has several metal objects inside it that irritate my skin and so uncomfortable. It also tears easily if you're not careful when putting it on. |

I love everything about this shapewear except that the waist band rolls down and cuts off your breathing. A better construction would be that the band was higher up, more like an empire waistline rather than beneath. Unfortunately this product got returned for that reason. |
