My intial review when I took this item out of the package was it looked really small. I tried it on and it literally felt so snuh on my knees that I thought it would not fit. But it did. I'm 5'3 and between 121-125lb it fit pretty well. Felt just right on my behind. My only concern would be from under my breast to the waist area. This arrived about 15 minutes ago. I was so excited to try it on. I am super happy with it. I read a bunch of reviews and I always hate that no one puts their own measurements in, they just say it didn't fit, which doesn't help someone who is trying to figure out their size. So, I ordered a 12-14 and it fits excellently. I am an athletic but overweight 190#, 5'6", and I measure 42-33-43. I have recently had 2 babies and put on 40#, so I have been buying all kinds of shape wear while I work on my will to eat better an exercise. Even though I've just tried this on, I can tell it will be my favorite and probably the only piece I will wear. It does make me look less curvy and takes away the definition of my waist some, but that's a small price to pay when it completely hides my abominable new muffin tops. I am giving it 3 stars for now, because it came with a few defects. I will update this review in a week or a month etc, to say how it is holding up to use. However, even if this only lasts me a few months of regular use, 22$ is an awesome deal compared to other brands and styles of shapewear, NONE of which actually do what I want them to, which is not ride up by butt crack, and not roll down my ribs, and not make huge fat rolls on my back beneath my armpits. I find sone shapewear almost makes me look worse because it creates problems instead of hiding them. This suit is perfect, hides everything and doesn't create any problems. I've only had and worn this for a few days but I really like it so far. you can basically make it as tight/loose as you want. Flexible enough to sit in. I wear it around the house as much as possible. have not seen any results as far as loosing inches but like I said I have only worn for a couple of days. I buy a lot of shapewear and the namebrand stuff is usually triple this price or more, yet this is one of the best pieces of shapewear I've owned. I'm proportional but thick and jiggly. I weigh a lot more than most people would guess. This sucks everything in, flattens the tummy considerably better than the usual one flat panel item (this has two parts, you won't unserstand what i mean until you see it and put it on), doesn't roll down to create muffin back, definitely shapes my saddlebags and lifts my butt (and the sheer layer over the butt hides cellulite in tight dresses). Also the fact that it comes right up under my bra means it lifts my boobs too! It's magic and better than Spanx any day. I'm 5'9" 170lbs and wear a size 10 in most clothes. Because I am bottom heavy, it was a BIG struggle to pull this up, but once you get past the bottom, it was easy to put the corset piece on. |
