The product was a nice quality, but it certainly runs a little small and does not stretch much. I wear a size L or XL in leggings and bought the shapewear in a size large, as I did want a slightly smaller/tighter fit as an alternative to an abdominal compressor. I couldn't even get these past my hips. I gave them to my mom who wears a small or medium in leggings and she also had a little trouble getting them past her hips. You can wrap this really tightly around your belly, which can feel nice in so far as feeling less jiggly while your muscles tighten. I have lost 50 pounds in the last 3 months and found myself down 7 sizes. The problem was that my tummy was not as flat as I wanted it to be.
