Postpartum Girdle Belt in Blackburn

I'm really disappointed with these. I am a size 12 & bought the large. As I was putting them on, they were tight as expected (who wants loose-fitting shapewear?) I hiked them up & the band on top immediately folded over. There are 2 rubber strips that are meant to hold them in place, but only one was against my skin. The other was on the outside on top. It was like wearing a rubber band around my ribs all day. It actually hurt to take them off because of the gouge they left in my skin. It really did look like the mark a hair tie leaves when you wear one on your wrist all day (if you have large wrists like I do.) Also, as the top band folded, the outer layer started to bunch up. The top band is the tightest fitting part of these. Fortunately, the band comes up to the bra line, so they didn't create a weird extra roll between the band and bra. I like the boy-short part of these, but there is a thick seam around the hips where the inside layer starts. I haven't really checked it out, but it seems like they would leave some strange thong-ish looking panty lines. I would almost say that I hate these, but they did hold in my belly & love handles, plus I like the boy shorts. However, I wish I had gotten another pair of the Maidenform Sleek Smoothers Hi-Waist Boyshort Shapewear. I have had those for a few months, but they were a little looser than I'd like after losing 20 lbs. Okay I took a risk in ordering this piece , seeing as it only had 1 review :/ and I'm pleasantly surprised to find that I really love it . I'm 5"2 I am wearing this piece with a waist trainer underneath because it gave me more shape as well as helped tighten the dress around me all together. The dress is a tad too big (I got a small ) but with the waist trainer and bra underneath it fit to perfection at the top , with the laces tightly zipped . The bottom was a disappointment because the dress flares out . Because I was surprised at the quality of this item and how it fit at the top it was no biggie . I am having a friend alter the sides with her sowing machine so it fits tight from top to bottom . I wish I did not remove the tags because I would return this in an instance. The top has that lining that you believe will hold it up, but it only rolls down into an uncomfortable area. I do not have much to suck in, as I am 8 weeks pregnant, but this makes me look 5 months pregnant as it pushes everything to the center of your stomach creating a pooch. Fit as expected. Very comfortable. Material is light weight and breathable. I feel the quality is, good material seems to be really durable. Could only wear it for about an hour or so 2 days after csection. I feel its doing the job belly is shrinking down pretty quickly. Love that its adjustable; can get it to fit really tight and provides awesome back support. Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase. Shapewear usually runs small, so I expected it to be on the snug side to say the least. Per the size chart, I ordered my size, because I have a problem tummy area and wanted something to control the lumps and bumps under dresses. I would recommend sizing up. One size up wouldn't have probably fit a bit more comfortably on me. It definitely does it's job and holds everything in nicely. It does take a bit of effort to put on and I must have looked ridiculous trying to squeeze into it. I would not recommend wearing under a thin dress, because you can see the hooks through the front. It does get the job done and I'm generally satisfied, but I probably would not order again. |

Okay, this shaper does the job perfectly. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because it makes noise when I walk. I have thick thighs that rub together so it makes a swishy noise when I'm walking in this shaper and that's embarrassing. It's because of the material. These are awesome! The legs ride up a little, but the top has that clear gel stuff that helps keep it up. It smooths and shapes wonderfully. It's also easy to get on and off. |

I probably should have read the description better. I thought it was all one piece but the fact that it's 3 separate pieces is a bit inconvenient. |

The top edge (which has a no slip gripper) wants to flip over. It doesn't fall down or continue rolling, but it is a bit of an annoyance. The good thing is, you don't feel or see that the top edge has flipped so I consider this minor. I enclosed added a picture with one of my clingy white sweaters so you could see how it looks underneath. |

This is amazing. It's comfortable, slimming, and as a bonus gave enough support to also help with my back pain. It runs true to size. |

Although these fit as expected, have a cotton crotch, and help slim the profile, I thought the belly support would be stronger. I have other brands and other pairs that slim the profile more. |

It was almost impossible to get on because it was so tight, but once it was on it felt pretty good. Sent back anyway because I can't spend an hour trying to get it off and on every time I need to use the restroom. |

Fits wonderfully well. I used to wear M (2-4) before I got pregnant. Postpartum, throughout week 1 I had to wear XL or L. This belt was a god-send. I'm at week 3 postpartum and can wear most of my old clothes with this belt compressing my tummy. |

Got this last week, and all ready it is great, I really enjoy the 360 degree slimming this shapewear provides, it slims me down and cuts down my tummy. It really does help me fit better into clothes! |

Due to pain after c-section I couldn't where till a week and half but it works and helped lots with back pain and sleeping on my side. It kept everything in place and shrink my abdomen greatly. I wore over a undergarment as material for me was uncomfortable but nothing major. |

This does help smooth out and compress the tummy area, but it did roll down on me a bit. I'm 4'11" and 145 pounds, and it just hits me right below the bra line. Another minor annoyance is that the little boyshort part does not stay in place at all. The legs kept riding up. |

It Ford perfectly. Feels great on and does The Job. You have to be careful putting it on and of though tbecause The Thread can easily break and ruin the item. But for the price this item is great. The only really big con is that even if it has a opening to "use The bathroom" unless your wearing an thong And put it to The side to pee You have to take of The whole thing off to use The bathroom which is annoying. |

Love this girdle! I have noticed a difference after wearing it for only 3 days. The 3 different straps allow you to adjust the fit. It's definitely kept my stomach sucked in after my C-section and is as comfortable as a girdle can be. |
