The way the eyelets fasten in the front create a bulge effect through clothing when sitting. The shaper doesn't do any good for the thigh/glute areas. Best to buy enough shapers for each day of the week so they keep their shape. It's not at all hard to get dressed in. Very easy on. The shaper is best when worn with a sport bra type bra. This is awesome! I've spent gobs of money of various shapers over the years, and this one is by far the absolute best one and it's so inexpensive! As with any body shaper, pull it on slowly, piece by piece, so you don't pop any stitches or rip the fabric. I had to send the first one back because it was too big. I'm 5'6 and a half, 160lbs, and the size 6-8 was too big. I was able to comfortably hook on the outside hooks with no problem, so I sent it back and got the 4-6 and it's great! Best full body shaper ever!! just got mine today, super fast shipping! I ordered size 8-10. I am 5'6" and 160 lbs. I have a athletic hour glass figure and am a solid size 8 pants. The waist adjustment is perfect on this garment. I wasn't difficult to put on and I really like the firm support you get along with comfort. I have been waiting for someone to design a firm support piece that is still comfortable. The price is definitely right and the quality is very good. I wear a lot of dresses, this is just perfect. I do agree with others that wearing tight pants due to the large opening will show lines. Loose pants should be just fine. I just ordered a few more. This faja could work great if they would only fix a couple of things. Reviews are accurate ladies. I am 5'6 and it is still short in the torso. Also the cut out around the girly bits is very unflattering. If you are petite though this could be a great buy. |

This fits perfectly I have no complaints. I thought it might be too tight but it's not. I'm 5.7 and a size 12 the 4X was recommended by someone else and it fits perfectly. I'd recommend this as long as you get the right size |

I bought this for postpartum support to help get my shape back and get rid of the mommy pooch. I was a size 16-18 postpartum and I couldn't get it to even come close to closing and even if I had the Velcro would've snapped open. If you're starting out wearing this being about a size 10 it would be really effective but it is not good for us thicker girls. |

This fit as expected and I could see that it did do a good job of compressing my stomach area. However, the seams between the stomach control area and the boy shorts was very thick and showed through my clothes. It looked like I had a serious panty line. Very disappointed. |

When I got this product it was already damaged. One side from a wrap was not even sued on. And when I tried to use it the ends would start coming loose. I would not recommend it at all. |

Update: so this company has been emailing me ever since I wrote my initial review above. I've copy/pasted the latest and third email I got from them below. They are highly unethical! They want me to remove my review or give higher grade in exchange for my money back or another girdle. I responded to the first two emails stating that if they gave me my money back that I would remove the review as one of my complaints was that I couldn't return it. They never got back to me on it instead I get another email with similar request and even sillier explanation. I doubt the genuinity of this company! I had to earn them to never contact me again! I guess this would work. I personally gave up on the whole girdle idea and just wear my pre-pregnancy leggings. They hold everything in and allow me to move and bend freely. |

I really love this corset! For the price it is a great postpartum corset. It holds my belly in and I do think it's helped my belly go down in size quicker. I'm not sure if it's actually from the corset or from having it on being a reminder for me to try to hold in more. Either way it provides great support so I recommend it for any postpartum woman. |
