Once I got the underwear situation settled, I liked how I had the option to make the stomach corset part smaller or larger. I found that the 8-10 was a little large on me and didn't suck things in as much as I had hoped (for reference, I'm about 5'7" and 160ish lbs). The legs parts were also a little long. I bought this shaper, yes shaper not girdle or waist cincher. Because I had to start wearing slacks and button down shirts for work. This shaper makes everything look smooth. And gives some illusion of curves, I wear it during my 10 hr. work day which consists of both long periods on my feet and sitting at a desk. It's does the job. I wear a cami under so the I won't feel itchy or uncomfortable because of the seams I hope this helps, it took me weeks to finally decide to buy this item, if your like me, you've tried it all, believe me ladies if you follow the chart and be honest with yourself about your measurements you won't be disappointed.
