I'm 5'2, 150 lbs "pear shaped". I've recently gained 20lbs, went from a size 8 to a size 10-12 and let me tell you, I felt like a champion pulling up my fave size 8 jeans!! I went by the size chart and bought a large. The corset has 4 rows of hook and eye closures and I'm on the second row so I'm glad I didn't size down when deciding on which size to buy. Seems to be pretty well made even for the price, fits a bit on the small size so order a size up if you don't want to struggle too much getting it on. OMG!!! Hands down the BEST girdle/shapewear/foundation garment I have ever owned! For a nearly 40 YO who started wearing girdles at 13, that's saying a lot! I knew when I tried it on, that I was in love. I normally wear a 14-16, so I ordered the XL. I am a very bottom-heavy, pear-shaped girl. I probably could have gone with the L for a tighter corset, but on the tightest setting, the XL is working and I'm not sure the legs would be large enough in the L. In the XL, the legs are long enough that I don't get the usual line of demarcation. They stop just above the knee. I didn't have any trouble getting it on. The wide shoulder straps are very comfortable. The "access hole" is very large and if I were inclined to wear this garment without panties, restroom access would be a breeze (literally). As it is though, I feel a bit self conscious about letting it "all hang out". That in no way diminishes my adoration of this girdle. I wore it all day yesterday. It's comfortable and posture-correcting. Makes me look like I've dropped at least 20 lbs. I love it so much I'm buying my mom one, because I know her appreciation of a good foundation garment. And at this price, why not?!? |

I put this on under a stretchy tank-top. my Teenaged daughter said, "nice bod, mom." I asked her if she wanted one, she was so confused. She had no idea I was wearing this thing. It doesn't poke or pinch or rub or squish my butt flat. |

This shapewear is just amazing. I love the fabric because is so soft and comfortable. I'm usually a size 4 and I ordered a medium, just to be sure, and it fits amazingly perfect. Not too tight, just perfect. I can wear this the whole day and feel so comfortable. I recommended ;) |
