I highly recommend this product. It looks great underneath my work clothes and it helps to pull in my tummy and my thighs. It does take some time to secure all the fasteners. I preferred to fasten them and then just pull it on so that it doesn't take so long to get into the Shape wear garment. I got this in a 3XL but it did not fit, only the thigh area kinda fit, but my butt was to large, so don't get if you have a big booty. The sizes run small which really surprised me because I have another body shaper in the same size and it fits perfectly. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the shipping was fast. Other that, it's a real disappointment. :( | Tag:

months ago I had my c-section and the incesion creates a nice buldge with what is left of my baby tummy. I was hopping this would help smooth it because it shows in certain dresses and when I have a fitted shirt and my pants pull down throughout the day. With this my pants seemed to fall more because it was so slippery. It created a buldge between my bra and where this ended on my back that I didn't have before and it just seemed to push my baby fat up making it look more like a pot belly. I ended up not wearing it because I thought it looked better without it. I'm going to keep it for now and maybe it will work with something else. I would really suggest reading the sizing chart and measuring to make sure you get the right size. |

The top band with the anti-slip elastic stuff started to bother me about 4 hours in, but then again so do all the strapless bras I've ever worn with this system. If this stuff bothers you like it does me, it might be worth attempting to search for a different model/brand (if such a thing exists?). I was in quite a hurry (no time to read all the reviews in depth / other things to order and do) and willing to deal with it though. |

I am a size 14/16, height 5'9 my waist is about 37 inches, my hips are about 49 inches. I ordered the 2X and it fit just fine. I really like the shaped and the fact that the shorts were pretty long and went right down to the top of my knee. The only thing is that the crotch really is odd. It like makes a U shape around the top of the lady parts and really shows off your lady bits, which is pretty weird. I think with some nylons and the right underwear it won't be a big deal but I do wish the hole for the crotch wasn't there. |

I think this is too short from chest to abdomen. After a pregnancy you would be expected to have extra flab/skin and the area this corset covers is fairly narrow, unless you are very petite. If you place it to your panty line like the picture shows, it just pushes the extra fat and skin up towards your bra line, which is very uncomfortable. I could not use this until about week 6 post-partum until I had lost a bit of my tummy and it still feels like I'm having to constantly adjust this because it doesn't stay in position throughout the day. |

A lot more comfortable than a waist trainer. Not noticable also, I have a longer torso so I have to pull it up more which gives me a wedgie but the material is soft so it doesn't bother me. |

I have been looking long and hard for something just like this, but I always stopped myself because the prices were always too high for me, with this one being so much less, and having such good reviews, I thought I would give it a shot, and I am very glad I did! I am 5'3" and normally wear a 16 or a 14, depending on the company. I ordered the 12-14 size. It is almost like it's two pieces as you put it on, the bottom part you pull up, and then the stomach part you hook closed, but it is seamless in the back. As others reviewers state, the gusset hole is comically large, so when I first put it on, I really had to hike it up to get the hole above my thighs, but I was able to. Also as others have stated, it was very difficult to get it fully hooked the first time you put it on, I had thought I might have gotten one that was too small, but, after a good amount of work (probably about 15 minutes fussing with it) I was able to get it all hooked up and situated, and it's perfect! I am mostly an hourglass shaped person, but I have fat rolls near my waist I'd rather not advertise when I wear dresses, and I have big thighs that rub together if I don't separate them, so this fits the bill on all accounts. I have put it on since the first time, and it goes on much easier now. I love it so much I have ordered another so I always have one available. Definitely worth more than what it costs in my opinion! |
