Postpartum Girdle Belt in Heflin

I was extremely skeptical when purchasing this product, but it is pretty amazing. I am 10 weeks postpartum and was overweight prior to my pregnancy. At this point, I am only reviewing this product from a shape-wear perspective as I have not had it long enough to experience any long term effects. The item is fairly comfortable considering it is the Velcroed equivalent of a corset. Although the instructions advise not to wear it on bare skin, I have done so without an issue. You can see it a little if you are wearing something very tight, but hey - it's better than clearly visible fat rolls. This product definitely improves posture as it is very structured. It has actually minimized my back pain. But the true miracle is the slimming effect. Please see pictures below... This is the first "Shapewear" product I have ever bought and I am so glad I did :) I'm 5'3 at about 160 pounds, I love my body but I do have some areas I could work on lol. This shaper is nice and tight and tucks in my waist to where it's nice and smooth in areas I feel self conscious about. it was way too small and the design wasn't what I thought it was. I was looking for one piece so that my waist wouldn't get pinched and cause me stomach upset. This garment does exactly what it is supposed to do. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because I ordered the 3x even though the 2x matched my measurements. It still took me 15 minutes to get into it and it was the most exercise I had gotten since 2007. Order bigger! | Tag:

I ordered a size large. I usually wear a size 12-14 (pre-pregnancy) & it barely comes together in the front. The scratchy velcro rubs on my belly. But I am only a week post partum so I am hoping it might fit me a bit better in a month or two. I did wear it for 2 days straight (only taking it off at night) & already noticed a difference, but decided to still wait a few more weeks because I felt a bit bruised after wearing on top of already feeling pretty sore after delivery. I think when I try it again it will be better. Also, want to more there was no instructions for how to wear or how to wash. |

rolls at the top and at the leg holes, doesnt really do much except for smooth everything out. i still use it a lot though because it makes me feel more secure. |

Yup-all the positive reviews are totally accurate. This thing works like a charm. I'm a professional vocalist, and my stuff just can't jiggle/wobble/sag etc. up on stage. This is tight, but super comfy and easy to get into and wear. Great price, well made, easy to hand wash (dries in a jiffy), and very flattering. I usually wear a 10/12, so buy one size down from what you usually wear-it'll stretch after the first use. HOWEVER-if you're outfit is clingy down the front, then this will leave a vertical line. No biggie, just wear a fairly heavy slip underneath. Will definitely buy this again! |

These were definately the best buy for controlling my (never had a baby) mothers apron. That is, they were the best shaping shorts for flattening my belly overhang. Legs did roll up a bit. |

It was so tight post pregnancy, but now that I have lost 10 lbs it's more bearable to wear all day. The downside is that now that I've started to wear it after I lost weight, the stomach area is not as tight. It's tight around the rib area and butt area only. I should have worn it post pregnancy to give a better review. |

i would usually wear a medium in things and after reading reviews I ordered a Large- day after my csection i could barely get it to come together but it still felt good to have the support-now a week post op It fits fine- still not loose but comes together without to much pulling. |
