I just had a C-section in November, and have been having a difficult time bringing the swelling down because it's happening very slowly. Considering I tried on every type of compression gear I could find at kohls, I daresay this is the most comfortable body shaper that I have EVER tried on. Having the waist cincher in the middle made it quick and easy to get off and on. Has large opening making it easy to use restroom. I ordered the 12/14, size 5X. Because I can tighten to last row of hooks, I think I could have gone down in size. I usually wear a 14W or 16R for reference. However the compression was just right for the dress I will be wearing it under. If I was wearing a bodycon dress I would size down. I found the thigh area to be very comfortable and didn't make any lines above the knee - which is a first for me. This product is of very high quality for the price. I Would Give It A Zero Star. I bought a size larger for my wife due to others had mentioned it comes small. But what we received would not fit my wife. She wasn't able to get it above her knees. The sizes must be for children and not adult's. So we returned them the next day. And received a refund the following day from Amazon.
