A better construction would be that the band was higher up, more like an empire waistline rather than beneath. Runs a little small but actually works, I've seen a difference in one day. I would definitely suggest this for after c section. This garment did a nice job of waist shaping, and I really liked the fact that it smoothed out the bra fat zone too. Everything about it was great, except for the split crotch. The opening of the split crotch was shockingly large and super tight and constricting. The cut of the fabric in that area was not only extremely visually displeasing, but very irritating and actually cutting off my circulation by pressing into the groin so hard. I'm 5 feet and weigh 134 lbs. And I love love love this body shaper. BEST one so far. I will be buying a size M. BECAUSE although the L fit well but I can still see my belly a little bulging out. So I know the size M will do the job. Sneezing or coughing after a Cesarean can be excruciatingly painful but this helps provide the gentle pressure your belly needs when doing daily activities, ie. using the bathroom, sitting down and standing up, coughing/sneezing, keeping a good posture while resting and feeding. |
