After reading the reviews I made the jump and purchased this shaper in XL. I wear 12-14. After a little work I was able to manuever this on. It fits nicely. The shoulders need a little more give in the adjustment straps. Yes you can wear it with panties because the crotch has a wide opening. I love this. I mean you would expect that it would be somewhat uncomfortable for its indented purpose but other then that fact that it's right I love it. But before you Buy this her are few things to consider. It's going to be tight, it's kind of uncomfortable but when you look yourself in the mirror it's worth it. At the same time women used to wear the corset so tight in the old days were they couldn't barely eat I'm just on the hook and eye row one and I'm already eating less which is a good thing just make sure that you're eating. WOW! I was super skeptical of the price at first, but hear me out...I recently had lipo on my hips, thighs and full abdomen as well as a breast augmentation. The operation facility provided me with my first compression garment (size XL). I bought my second one from the facility as well (size L) which cost me $160!!!! So, when that garment got too large for me, I decided to take to Amazon for a cheaper option. I bought two of these garments (black and nude) in size medium and let me just say that you CANNOT beat it! These garments are well made for the price and compress in all of the right areas for post op patients. Not to mention they are cute in design. I am 5'8" and 250lbs so I bought the 3X. It was a job to get it on but once I did it is actually very comfortable. After my c-section I've had a hard time losing weight and this makes my stomach look at least 2 sizes smaller and gives me a nice hourglass shape. |

This product seems to fit and work well. Sometimes it feels like it's riding up, but that's probably just because of the way my body is shaped. I like that it is white so it can go with any of my clothes, and doesn't seem to show lines under my clothes. |

At first I really liked this product but a few weeks after using it the spines in the first belt started to mold to my body making it push into my ribs and to be uncomfortable. The other belts are still fine but they don't stay in place well. If I put them all on and then just stood there, they would stay. I find myself having to readjust them all the time. Over all this product in not expensive so it's not terrible. But I don't wear the first belt at all any more because it's uncomfortable now. |

And because there are three layers, you get to decide how much support you need and where you should put it. |
