Overall I did really like this. It was compressing enough to make a difference and the boyshort part of it was quite comfortable. The only thing is the top band that helps hold it up. It leaves bruises around my ribs and is VERY tight. I'm afraid that if I order a larger size then the compression around the waist wont be as snug and form contorting so I will just suffer through it. I got these 1-2 weeks postpartum. I had a 2nd time c section and diastasis recti. I was longing for sleep on the side but too afraid my organs would move around when i turn. so this gridle helped. At first it was stiff - which i like because it helped to flatten my belly, i wore this 24/7, the belly was noticable flatter, then took it off for one day for my body to relax (wearing this is very tight and restrictive sometimes), but then my belly went back to big. So i kinda have to keep this one to keep it tight. Now it's been my 6th week. With my hunching sometimes, the girdle is starting to loose its shape meaning the top and bottom ends crunched up a little. and it also slides up. I have a "droopy" belly, so my bottom muffin top hangs out and bent my incision a bit. i feel like this has helped with my post partum stomach going back down. 4 stars because i am still 15 lbs above my prepregnancy weight (150 now) and i dont think this would compress my stomach any at my previous weight since i am already able to put this on at the tightest it will go. overall a good product for the price and so far its done its job. im 7 weeks pp on tuesday, 5'3 for reference. | Tag:

checked measurements, by all means a 2x should have fit great. miserable against the ribs.. had trouble getting it past my butt! the material is comfortable but the fit is awful. size up by two or risk it cutting your stomach open |

It fits great and does not make me sweat too much. It helped my abdomin feel better right after I had my son. I was able to do a regular sit up to gt out of bed, the nurses were really surprised I could do that so soon after giving birth. |
