I ordered a much for expensive postpartum girdle, which I had to return due to a faulty zipper. In the meanwhile I ordered this girdle, and I love it much more than the other one (which cost $100). It helped me feel more secure is my postpartum body and helped my uterus contract down. The sizing is strange, but if you read the comments you should be able to find your correct size. I'm normally about a 12-14 pants and 10 dress. I am 5'2 at 240 pds i brought the 3xl and the legs were a bit hard to get on at first. I personally thought that it wasnt going to fit but i continued and it pulled up with no lines of where it ends on my thighs. Had to adjust the crotch opening so my butt wasn't poking out lol and the top was perfect i thought it wasnt going to close either but i was wrong and it looks great. and the price is awesome. I absolutely love this shapewear! It holds everything in and it makes any outfit look amazing on you. It makes your tummy smooth and flat and adds a little push to your tush! I rated a 4 because shoulder straps can be uncomfortable. There nice and smooth but they can rub the wrong way. So, I ordered this same product in the brief and wanted the boy short version in my life too. I ordered same size and color, but what's weird is it's about 4" too short. Other reviewers mentioned how they'd pull it up to the top of their rib cage only to have it roll back down. This boy short (in comparison to the brief version) is perpetually rolled down. I just don't get it. Same size, same color, same manufacturer and it's waaay too short. I could not even get this thing past my hips. Yes, I have big hips but I wear a medium in just about everything including shape wear shorts. I was going to push through just to see how the waist part fits, but then I remembered that I'd probably have to go the bathroom at some point when I actually wear it. I could not imagine trying to get this thing down and back up multiple times during a wear. A large might be better, but I think it would then be too big up top. First off, this comes in 3 pieces. You are supposed to wear the 1st piece in the first few weeks then add on the 2nd piece and so forth. Just way too many separate parts to mess with and remember. I mean, if you just gave birth this is the last thing you need to remember. Also, the velcro will stick to everything and snag. It snagged on my sweaters and messed them up. Lastly, I wouldn't consider myself a heavy weight person, but this is very bulky and makes all of your fat buldge and spill out. After an hour of wear I would start to feel a little sick. I'd much rather spend a little more money and buy something that was 1 piece rather than 3. |

Very nicely made from top to bottom ,hard to get into but i have to say fighting to get into this is worth it i love the the bottom,it is open with a nice size slit ,separate from the girdle that helps to be able to walk natural i am now thinking of getting a white or biege makes me feel good about myself it keeps me in ,all over where it counts ,open top is great i took a size 6-8 is said to be a XXL body 125 LBS. i am very top heavy so i needed the open top im a 38 DD perfect in what i needed , i would suggest this body shaper everyone |

I reviewed this as "somewhat small" because I would think that I'm a medium, but by the measurements I ordered a large and it's perfect. And the legs don't make a giant line and pudge where they end and they don't stick out from under reasonably short skirts like other ones do. The only problem is I loves these so much I want to wear them all the time! |

This is not for someone who had liposuction or a tummy tuck. It has no support for the stomach that would help contour the body after surgery. This is just a body shaper.It has several metal objects inside it that irritate my skin and so uncomfortable. It also tears easily if you're not careful when putting it on. |
