To those who have posted about this running too small, I do not think you understand body shapers and u almost kept me from purchasing this!! Anyway, this was for a 5 ft 5 220lb size 18 customer and the fit was perfect. It held her in, but didn't make her gasp for air, haha. The fabric is baby soft and this is very high quality. I'm 5'9 and 225lb postpartum. I ordered the large and it is tight though that is the whole point. It really is quite comfortable. It helps with my back pain postpartum while I'm up walking around. I don't like wearing it while sitting though. | Tag: best girdle after baby

It's nice compression and comfortable overall but, the waistband is the biggest problem. It has that rubbery stuff on it that's supposed to make it stick better to your skin but is really just super annoying and uncomfortable. It sits right at the smallest part of my waist where the bottom of my ribs are and it's SUPER tight. I mean incredibly tighter than the rest of the garment. It doesn't roll down but it digs in quite a bit when sitting down or moving a lot. I didn't use this much because it wasn't as necessary as i thought. but it did help keep me from feeling like my belly was a deflated balloon. and it helped my back adjust to breastfeeding with all the bending and leaning i was doing. Squeezing into this was no joke, I thought maybe once in just the right position I'd be okay. I'm a dress size 16, I bought the xxl bc I didn't want to be totally crushed. No win here tho. The elastic and grip material at the top band is so tight, it would surely crush my rib cage and hurt my breathing If I wrote it for any length of time. Really disappointed. |

I watched the wife as she tried to get into one of these. To say I was alarmed puts it mildly. So much squeezing and pulling and grunting. I'm thinking that at any moment something's gonna give, either the stretchy fabric or a pulled muscle. I tried to help. It didn't want to pull up over her backside, so I grabbed the fabric and had to pull out and up and I feared it was TOO BIG a job, but she wiggled and pulled and got it up to below her armpits. I was reminded of the Michelin Man. I didn't think so much fat could be relocated. Maybe an overfilled sausage casing. Surprisingly, she wore it around the bedroom for a while, but eventually took it off, saying she couldn't breathe. Why do women do this to themselves?? |

It's alright, but it's so much. You can't wear it under anything that's not rather baggy. It moves around quite a bit with sitting and walking so it takes adjusting, because of this I only wore it a handful of times so I didn't use it long enough to see results. |

I ordered a size large. I usually wear a size 12-14 (pre-pregnancy) & it barely comes together in the front. The scratchy velcro rubs on my belly. But I am only a week post partum so I am hoping it might fit me a bit better in a month or two. I did wear it for 2 days straight (only taking it off at night) & already noticed a difference, but decided to still wait a few more weeks because I felt a bit bruised after wearing on top of already feeling pretty sore after delivery. I think when I try it again it will be better. Also, want to more there was no instructions for how to wear or how to wash. |
