This really smoothes out my problem tummy area. I am short waisted and have had a hard time finding shapewear that comes up above the waist without it being too long; this shapewear hits me in the right spot and the elastic grip stays put. I don't get the "roll down" that has happened with other shapers where it's simply too long for me. I have had some roll-up in the leg openings if I don't take the time to properly adjust everything. Couldn't figure out what belt goes where - no labels!!! Couldn't even match from the photo/drawing. I returned it. It also seemed like it would squeeze me too much, even the plus size. I'll keep looking for a better set. I literally could not be more happy with this body shaper. It was waiting for me when I got home from work yesterday so today is when I wore it to work all day. I'm a dog groomer so I'm always moving around and it didn't restrict my movements at all! I'm in the process of wonderful weight loss and I've been really worried about my body not taking proper shape during that. I'm rather confident this will help as I continue to lose weight! I will say though, the seam on the arm straps rests in a way that will rub the skin right in between your arms and breasts, just outside your armpit area (difficult area to describe), just a tad, but that can easily be solved with a small soft patch or something added, but that's most likely only because I am a D Cup. I did put above, that it was a little big on me only because I ordered correctly due to the size chart but when I got it I could instantly put the corset part on the tightest notches, which I don't mind, it simply means I'll have to buy a smaller size when more weight falls off. It was rather awkward for me when I used the restroom because my buttocks are not small, but it is manageable, you just really have to get used to the feeling of it I suppose. (For those who don't know it's crotchless in the booty and girl bits so you do not have to take the entire thing off to use the facilities). It does hide my unsightly tummy and back rolls and really emphasizes my perfect natural hour glass figure :-D!!!! I love how tight it feels against me but extremely comfortable at the exact same time. The leg parts did leave a little crease visible through pants when I sat down but you'd have to look very hard to notice that. Also, it feels like it 'settles' in as the day goes on giving you a better figure a hour or so after putting it on compared to right when you squeeze into it. I do want to share that there is no sexy way to put it on or take it off really (lots of wiggling and tugging and just kinda awkward to see) so might want to do that part in private, but it looks quite sexy, to me, once it's completely on! Overall I can't wait until I can fit a smaller size! |

I was so nervous about the sizing on this that I also ordered a different brand "back up". What made me go for it, even though I usually avoid all Asian clothes based on me being a bigger girl, were the great reviews. I too cracked up when I saw it because I thought no way is this fitting me. I'm 5'2 160 lbs. It was a fight to get it on. So the shorts pull up and there is a hook and eye corset enclosure for the tummy part (kind of like a wrap around). I start hooking from the bottom and reach a spot where I can go no further. I start hooking from the top, again a roadblock (fat block? Lol) so I lay down hook a few more.... Now for the hysterics. I'm laughing so hard because there is this little bubble of fat hanging out. I am laughing so hard my husbands come to see if something is wrong. Now he is laughing so hard he says "well at least you know how much you have to lose" we are uncontrollable at this point. I fight the good fight to get a few more hooks hooked and let me tell you. When I stood up everything was distributed evenly! Not one roll or indent... And to boot it was totally comfortable. The potty hole was so big that my husband thought I tore it (more hysterics) after explaining he was quite impressed. I have to say you can wear this all day in comfort and it gives enough for you to sit, move and eat! I have a sensitive stomach (after 3 kids) so I really don't like being compressed. This is not like that it just distributes. It definitely made me look at least 10lbs lighter without those lines that give away the fact that you are wearing shape wear. I really can't believe how well this works. I don't believe in reviewing anything that isn't great, so there you have it. I will say I have not tried it with my dress yet or worn it more than a few minutes, but I can already tell it does the trick. Good luck and don't hesitate to give this a try. I did go 1 size up and although these are supposed to be tight I don't believe it was too tight to stand or that a bigger size would have worked better. |

I found that the 8-10 was a little large on me and didn't suck things in as much as I had hoped (for reference, I'm about 5'7" and 160ish lbs). The legs parts were also a little long. If you are wearing a short dress, everyone will see that you have something on. |
