I'm a size 18 at 5ft 3in and ordered the XXL. Fit great. Easy to breath and move, no rolling up on the leg area, and this shaper eliminates the back bulge problems I've had with other shapers. Pair that with great back support and lift for the girls and and an inexpensive price I will definitely keep buying this brand. I read that a lot of women were concerned with the open gusset area. I definitely thought I got the wrong size at first (which I might have) but after a little bit of shimmy and shaking I got in it! My only complaints are that the straps dig into my shoulders too much for my taste and it hugs my thighs a little too tight. I can only wear dresses with it. I wore this after a c-section for the first few outings. I started wearing it 3 days after surgery. Compared to my other c-sections, I could really tell a difference while wearing this. It provided amazing support. It didn't hurt as much going over bumps in the road, railroad tracks, etc. It also helped me get up and down easier and helped me not feel like my insides were falling out. I did not wear this to "loose my tummy", I simply wanted the extra support. It is 3 pieces and takes a little bit to get on. It fastens with velcro so it would fit many different shapes and sizes. Fabulous. Fit exactly as expected, is very comfortable, surprisingly, and well made. I am a pear - shaped gal, so it was likely easier for me to get into this than the apple - shaped girls out there, as the hooks start just at the top of my hips...but I think with patience, anyone can make this work.
