It's SUPPOSED to be a little small, in order to hold your larger self in! I have worn it all day and it's been lovely. I was worried it would roll down from the top, but it's strong and has stayed in place without pulling my skin or bothering me in any way. I have a "pooch" and love handles from having my first baby because I've not lost the weight and this holds things in, smoothes out my love handles and you can't tell I'm wearing it under my clothes! I'm actually waiting to lose a few pounds before I start wearing this, because right now the top cuts into my waist too much, causing it to roll down and give an unsightly bulge under tighter clothing. I think a bigger size, though, would not compress my stomach enough to make much of a difference. months ago I had my c-section and the incesion creates a nice buldge with what is left of my baby tummy. I was hopping this would help smooth it because it shows in certain dresses and when I have a fitted shirt and my pants pull down throughout the day. With this my pants seemed to fall more because it was so slippery. It created a buldge between my bra and where this ended on my back that I didn't have before and it just seemed to push my baby fat up making it look more like a pot belly. I ended up not wearing it because I thought it looked better without it. I'm going to keep it for now and maybe it will work with something else.
