A small is awfully snug on me, and I usually wear a 4-6... Granted, I'm new to shapewear, so maybe this is normal, but it was so tight it gave me gas. HOWEVER, it is quite effective. The waist trimmer isn't long enough, which causes my not so slim stomach to roll over the top of it. Extremely unflattering if I wear a fitted or sort of fitted top. |

The size was too small, even though I ordered one size more it was still not adequate. If you are a L , you should order a XXL. Or even a 3xl if you have big tights. |

Now, I am a week postpartum, and decided to try it on. I'm regretting not getting a large. Right now, my waistline is about 37 1/2 inches, and my hips about 47 inches. I could not get this around my abdomen, without stretching it and just barely getting the Velcro to attach. When I was able to get it to attach, it was very tight and painful, and when I moved, the Velcro started to come undone. |

Three stars because this product fits MUCH smaller than expected. I typically wear a medium in shirts and did consult the sizing guide before purchase. This medium had me feeling like an overstuffed sausage, no way I could actually wear it for a full day or event out! Definitely took it off immediately and returning. |
