It was definitely too small around the elastic part on top. The fabric was nothing special, therefore it didn't really tighten anything up around the tummy. If you're wanting to use these as spandex types to pull you in, this is not a good purchase. The "spandex" was too flexible and didn't "hold" anything tight. BUT there's a huge seam that goes across the hips (you can see it in the images, and it's even more noticeable in person). I tried four different dresses with these boyshorts, and every one of them showed the seam. This includes a body-con dress, two fitted-not-tight sheath dresses, and a flowy, loose chiffon dress with an empire waist. With every one of these, the seam was noticeable in the back since it basically cuts across your sit bones, right where dresses start to skim your backside. Predictably, it's also noticeable in the front with the body-con dress. I'd even be concerned about wearing these with trousers with a smooth or high waist. |

I gained 60lbs during my pregnancy. I have lost 40 lbs and I ordered an XL. I feel like a large or medium would not fit that well. Or it could be because I do not want to wear something so tight after a c-section. Either way, be cautious of sizing. I am happy with the product and believe it will last. |

This made me feel a little bad, I'm 5'7 and 215 pounds and bought the largest size available. I had a REALLY hard time getting it on the first time. Now I'm on day 2 and it's much more flexible. I have been using one for over a year now and its the best shapewear for pear shaped women who need support under trousers or pants. Unlike other products this one doesn't cut into the thighs and yet doesn't ride up (thanks to the boyshort design). It washes well (Machinewashed it every time even though handwash is recommended) and it has stood up well. After regular use for a year its top has started to fold over a little bit but that's expected since its been an year and I haven't been hand washing it. Overall I will definitely recommend this product. |

I would not recommend this to anyone with a butt. I have no idea how it got so many good reviews. Did you look at your backside in a pair of leggings? Yes, it will suck in your mid section. But the pee hole or crotch opening is basically the entire crotch to include about 3/4ths the way up your butt as well. This cause part of your butt to hang out and make a double butt( just visualize how appealing that looks in the rear view in a pair of leggings. YUCK!! I wanted to love this after the reviews but seriously the butt situation is enough to make a girl cry. I am not obese I am 5'3 145 and wear a sz 8. the 6-8 fit and compressed but the gaping whole in the bottom is a miss. I am used to these types of garments having an opening to urinate etc. but this is extreme. . |

It's SUPPOSED to be a little small, in order to hold your larger self in! I have worn it all day and it's been lovely. I was worried it would roll down from the top, but it's strong and has stayed in place without pulling my skin or bothering me in any way. I have a "pooch" and love handles from having my first baby because I've not lost the weight and this holds things in, smoothes out my love handles and you can't tell I'm wearing it under my clothes! Super discreet and an absolutely LOVELY product. I'm buying a few more!!! |

I purchased a 2xl (usually wear USA XL). The suit was a little snug, but figured it would be ok since I purchased it to sweat. Wore it once to my work out class, and the zipper popped and became unzipped in the front. I was unable to get it back on track, so I had to purchase another one. As far as sweating goes, it will make you sweat. However, still disappointed that I didn't get the full use out of it. |
