The folds poke the skin too much if you're constantly moving, sitting, standing, walking. I stopped using it after 4 weeks, because the folds hurt me more and more as it began to "shape into my body". I bought this to wear under my dress for daughter's wedding. I'm not really a fan of shapewear, but figured with the money I spent on the dress I'd better do what I could to look good in it! It did the trick, and I'm not unhappy with the wedding pictures. What I don't like: no convenience crotch for easy bathroom use. The horizontal seal across the top of the butt is not seamless when looking at clothes, so unless you're going to wear a shirt at about that level (which is pretty much where many shirts stop), I would look for another slimmer. I bought one of these to wear on a cruise for my anniversary. Just to help out others...I am 5'8" and 240 pounds and I bought the 3xl. I'm not gonna lie, I had to squish everything in and it took a while to hook it up, but the result was great. And once done up it was surprisingly comfortable. It didn't bind or pinch and I was able to wear it all night. I still wouldn't wear a straight dress or anything, but I looked fabulous and felt sexy in my plus size wrap dress. It held all night and no seams gave way. I would highly recommend, but you if you are any shorter or bigger than me, don't attempt, I pretty much maxed it out. |
