Postpartum Girdle Belt in Sunderland

I have been looking long and hard for something just like this, but I always stopped myself because the prices were always too high for me, with this one being so much less, and having such good reviews, I thought I would give it a shot, and I am very glad I did! I am 5'3" and normally wear a 16 or a 14, depending on the company. I ordered the 12-14 size. It is almost like it's two pieces as you put it on, the bottom part you pull up, and then the stomach part you hook closed, but it is seamless in the back. As others reviewers state, the gusset hole is comically large, so when I first put it on, I really had to hike it up to get the hole above my thighs, but I was able to. Also as others have stated, it was very difficult to get it fully hooked the first time you put it on, I had thought I might have gotten one that was too small, but, after a good amount of work (probably about 15 minutes fussing with it) I was able to get it all hooked up and situated, and it's perfect! I am mostly an hourglass shaped person, but I have fat rolls near my waist I'd rather not advertise when I wear dresses, and I have big thighs that rub together if I don't separate them, so this fits the bill on all accounts. I have put it on since the first time, and it goes on much easier now. I love it so much I have ordered another so I always have one available. I really like the quality and comfort of this. I bought the size 10-12 and it smoothed me out comfortably but it did not suck me in and make my figure look dramatically different. Had I ordered a smaller size I would have gotten those results which I was looking for. I was easily able to just step right into it without any tugging or working it into place. The best thing about this product is the super fast shipping! I followed the size chart for shapewear and matched with an 'L'. I am a size 12 in the hip/butt area. I received a 'large' in the post and it is tiny! It's more like an XS and not very stretchy. Very disappointed in the sizing of this product, I can't even pull it up over my hips. The product is great. It does exactly what it should. I wear a size 14 and I purchased the XL. It fits wonderfully and I am able to wear it for up to 4 hours without it becoming too much. The only downside is getting the back up without assistance! I have not been able to get the back up at all by myself. There is a helpful rubber/elastic ban at the top that helps keep it up. I've found the way to really get it to stay up is to put your bra on afterwards and have it hold it in place. It's fantastic material and very comfortable. Okay, this shaper does the job perfectly. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because it makes noise when I walk. I have thick thighs that rub together so it makes a swishy noise when I'm walking in this shaper and that's embarrassing. It's because of the material. This is my 2nd time purchasing this product. The item fit as expected, hold you firmly and gives a seamless look under clothing. My only issue is with the top of the product with the silicone like elastic band. I may have developed an allergy to that small area as it leaves a red mark around my waist/torso. This Postpartum Support is worth purchasing. It is a 3 part support. I wear it at night to give me that support while sleeping. I really do help me to keep my posture, tuck in my belly, and really help me to stay tone. You do not have to wear all the pieces all at once. However, I find it a great help to remind me to sleep right and to keep my tummy in. I ordered this Girdle Corset to flatten my lower stomach area for a wedding I was in 2 weeks after giving birth. I ordered a small, (I am a size 2 jeans) and the corset was too small for my waist. The corset did its job in flattening my stomach with forming an hourglass look. The girdle was tight and a bit uncomfortable but I think thats natural for its purpose. |

I was hesitant about buying this belt bc it seemed too good to be true based on the price. The belt came as pictured and has been an absolute game changer in my c section recovery.
