I originally bought this in a size 10-12, which matches my pant size. However, unlike the other reviewers, I was able to put it on pretty easily using the tightest setting while standing up. It provided some control and gave me a smooth silhouette under my clothing, but i ended up ordering a size smaller to give me a slimmer look when i want it. Overall, i love the large opening at the bottom, the stretchy straps which are comfortable and adjustable, and the fact that there are three rows of hooks to allow for adjustments. I spent SO MUCH TIME trying to find a good post partum girdle - there are so many mixed reviews and fake reviews here on amazon these days. Some are really cheap and others really expensive so I decided to try this one first before going for something super pricey. Well to my pleasant surprise this works great! I have no need to buy another and it's adjustable so it will last for awhile as my waist continues to shrink. The one thing that's annoying is you can't really wear this while sitting down, but that goes for anything similar. I was excited to try this product. It had arrived quickly from what I read in the description, I thought it would help me in my need. After having two kids, I have the kangaroo pouch. I was expecting more control over my stomach area. There is no support. i feel like this has helped with my post partum stomach going back down. 4 stars because i am still 15 lbs above my prepregnancy weight (150 now) and i dont think this would compress my stomach any at my previous weight since i am already able to put this on at the tightest it will go. overall a good product for the price and so far its done its job. im 7 weeks pp on tuesday, 5'3 for reference. |

I have to say, I bought this with the intention of wearing it after birth for pure vanity reasons... however I don't know how I could of done without it! I feel like the back support it provides was even more worth it than for vanity. I didn't wear it until I left the hospital (2 days) and you only start with the bottom piece at first, then a week postpartum add the upper piece, etc... the fabric doesn't bother me, it's soft. I do take it off to use the restroom. I will also add on the vanity side, my stomach literally went down in a week!! So yes, it works there too. |

MUST-HAVE after childbirth!!!!! These pushed my tummy UP and IN which has made a huge difference in preventing "mommy pouch" - other corsets and tummy binders will only push inward but the lower part of your tummy is pushed downward after wearing for a while--- training your skin and fat to move and hang south... NO, NO, that won't do. I bought these in 2x, XL, and L to start with. I have progressively been moving down IT size - making sure they are always very snug. Please do your body a favor and get these! (FYI- do not dry them in the dryer) |

Even though it is somewhat large it still does its job. I ordered a large. It is a little loose in the stomach area. I am 5'5 and weigh 170 pounds. I wish it were a bit tighter. The legs fit perfectly. I just wonder if I bought a medium if it would of been hard to put on. I think when I loose a few more pounds I will order a medium. Very comfortable to wear. I love the open crotch to go to the bathroom. So convenient! You will not be disappointed with this. I will definitely order another one!! |

First off, this comes in 3 pieces. You are supposed to wear the 1st piece in the first few weeks then add on the 2nd piece and so forth. Just way too many separate parts to mess with and remember. I mean, if you just gave birth this is the last thing you need to remember. Also, the velcro will stick to everything and snag. It snagged on my sweaters and messed them up. Lastly, I wouldn't consider myself a heavy weight person, but this is very bulky and makes all of your fat buldge and spill out. After an hour of wear I would start to feel a little sick. I'd much rather spend a little more money and buy something that was 1 piece rather than 3. |

I'm 6'1" and 230 lbs. I got an XL. It fit great. Only problem was it made a bit of sound when I walked due to my thighs rubbing together. |

Ordered this girdle after the binder provided from the hospital for my c-section recovery would not get tighter to give additional support. I wear this occasionally when doing physical activities and it prevents me from putting too much strain on my core. It doesn't hide under clothing entirely however it is less noticeable than the binder I replaced. I do not find it comfortable to wear for long periods of time and it can irritate my incision, but I just wear a camisole or maternity pants under it. |

I buy a lot of shapewear and the namebrand stuff is usually triple this price or more, yet this is one of the best pieces of shapewear I've owned. I'm proportional but thick and jiggly. I weigh a lot more than most people would guess. This sucks everything in, flattens the tummy considerably better than the usual one flat panel item (this has two parts, you won't unserstand what i mean until you see it and put it on), doesn't roll down to create muffin back, definitely shapes my saddlebags and lifts my butt (and the sheer layer over the butt hides cellulite in tight dresses). Also the fact that it comes right up under my bra means it lifts my boobs too! It's magic and better than Spanx any day. I'm 5'9" 170lbs and wear a size 10 in most clothes. Size 31 in seven brand skinny jeans. Only thing is my fat thighs barely made it into the Large. Fit perfectly everywhere else! |

This fit as expected and I could see that it did do a good job of compressing my stomach area. However, the seams between the stomach control area and the boy shorts was very thick and showed through my clothes. It looked like I had a serious panty line. Very disappointed. |

I purchased this to go under my costume for Halloween. It was a jumpsuit so I wanted to slim everything. It worked AWESOME! I felt very confident in my costume! It's a little hard getting on but wasn't uncomfortable! |
