As it is a cheap one it will stretch out. You can tighten it though. I just thought the elastic wouldn't of gotten all stretchy and wavy to quick. Either way this works. I have not had a kid but it helps with reshaping while losing weight. Also, I have a hard time knowing when I'm "full" and often eat till I'm stuffed. Wearing this I can feel it tightening and I know I can stop and have more food later. I don't wear the third part so low on my hips. I had the easiest pregnancy and the easiest delivery for my daughter! But postpartum was not so easy. I have had the worst hip pain after her birth. Most days I could hardly walk! I felt like the columns of hooks on the back could have been reduced because it created a gathered bulge near my tail bone because of the excess material. I wore this under a form.fitting dress and it did smooth out my torso, and kept my but and thighs from bouncing around. It fit comfortably but I wanted it to be more of a dramatic difference as a waist trainer. My muffin top was pretty well smoothed but my lower belly looked like I could be 1-2 months prego. It wasn't scratchy or itchy, and there were no seams showing through the dress. Love it! I was apprehensive ordering this because usually shape wear is so uncomfortable! This one is pretty great! I ordered it to wear under my wedding dress. This is by far the BEST shaper I have found. Be sure to order your size! Measure your waist before you order. I am so happy with this purchase. I am about 5'3" and weigh 140lbs. After a couple kids, even though I exercise, I need a little help in the mid section when I wear a dress. This does it for sure! So comfortable you can even wear it all day.
