I wish this worked better on me, but the arm straps dug into my shoulders/underarm and are ITCHY. Otherwise, this is great! I'm 5-7" and 170 pounds, I got the 8-10 and it fit everywhere else (and gave me an abdomen that regular workouts don't!) I had to buy a new body slimmer that wasn't as ridged or tight as the one that I would usually wear because it's too dang hot! This is the first and only one I'll need for summer because it's just perfect; it doesn't have steel bones, it's not oppressive, it has a crotch opening and it's breathable. If you always wear a bodyshaper (like me) but don't want to feel like you're dying from the heat, I would highly recommend this. It's SUPPOSED to be a little small, in order to hold your larger self in! I have worn it all day and it's been lovely. I was worried it would roll down from the top, but it's strong and has stayed in place without pulling my skin or bothering me in any way. I have a "pooch" and love handles from having my first baby because I've not lost the weight and this holds things in, smoothes out my love handles and you can't tell I'm wearing it under my clothes! There is nothing wrong with what was sent but I would definitely recommend going up a size or you won't be able to get it on. The only other issue I have is that the legs roll and the elastic band at the top is uncomfortable and difficult to pull up all the way. Not sure I would order this particular style again. As a MtF transgender person, I got this to help with tucking. I wear medium clothing comfortably and ordered a small so it is more restrictive. I feel as though if I was ordering this for it's actual intended purpose, I would want to order a small anyways. The point is to be firm. The torso elastic band is thick rubber, but still very comfortable, I haven't noticed any issues with much discomfort after several hours of wear. Just keep in mind, if you don't order this type of clothing, it isn't really made to be comfortable. The fabric makes it a lot nicer to wear and less intrusive and obvious, so it is very easy to hide under light clothing. I am satisfied with this and will order more. |
