I give this product overall a good review. It does what it says as far as being shapewear, and it is well made. My complaint is about the waist trainer closure "hooks" that protrude out. I bought this specifically because I liked that it had a waist trainer attached. But it is visible under your clothes. You can see the little hooks sticking out. It's obvious. And I'm not talking about a super tight dress, just one that is fitted. So now, I'm back to square one trying to find a piece of shapewear to work with this dress before our cruise. I wanted a post-partum girdle after my delivery to help with my diastis rectis and my umbilical hernia. This really did help aliviate the hernia discomfort and helped pull everything in quicker I feel. I ordered the medium size (I was 175 lbs pre-delivery and am normally 135 lbs not pregnant). I feel this size was perfect for me as you can make it smaller. It was comfortable, not too rigid to wear all day even while breastfeeding. It was fairly undetectable under clothing although don't wear something form fitting as it will show. Be aware there is a seam across the butt. If you are wearing something form fitting (which is likely why you are using this product )you may be able to see a line across your bottom. |

Fit as expected. Very comfortable. Material is light weight and breathable. I feel the quality is, good material seems to be really durable. Could only wear it for about an hour or so 2 days after csection. I feel its doing the job belly is shrinking down pretty quickly. Love that its adjustable; can get it to fit really tight and provides awesome back support. Also very affordable so far i feel the velcro wont be an issue but because of the price i can always buy another one without a problem!! |

I am 5'7 with 34 hips, 30 waist (due to enlarged kidneys) 34 bust and weigh about 145lbs. I bought a size 6-8 small with this and am able to wear it on the tightest setting. It's very firm and requires some strength to pull up. It firms everything up without pushing anything out anywhere else like some Shapewear does. My waist is an inch smaller with it on and my legs, which are relatively thin, look more shapely rather than flabby from no exercise. I can wear my own bra with this too. It's very easy to use the toilet with this on and I wear boy shorts. The only complaint I have is that it digs slightly just at my armpits. It's not excruciating, but it is noticeable by the end of the day. It's not horrible looking when wearing it, but you definitely cannot say this would be considered sexy in any way. It's just a fact of getting older, everything droops unless you're healthy enough to exercise regularly (if you are healthy - take it from someone who is not - exercise daily, you'll feel and look better). This is excellent quality with strong seams, straps and fasteners. I'm going to buy one in black too. |
