Postpartum girdle pros and cons

Seems to fit well and apears as of it will last. I am using mine to help naturally put back a hernia. I can not sit easily while wearing it. and only wear it at home because it shows through my clothing a bit. However I might wear out when weather cools and thicker clothes can be worn. I didn't use this much because it wasn't as necessary as i thought. but it did help keep me from feeling like my belly was a deflated balloon. and it helped my back adjust to breastfeeding with all the bending and leaning i was doing. I was unsure of this product, especially due to the low price point. I was wrong. It is amazing! I seriously love this. The three separate pieces allow me to customize the support worn and the elastic velcro has allowed for adjustments to my changing waistline. I could barely get it on after delivery and eight weeks postpartum, am extra glad for the ability to tighten or loosen with each wearing. The fabric isn't pretty-after all this is a medical purposed garment, but it is thick, sturdy and of quality. It has really helped my stomach muscles 'remember' to stand straight and hold in my stomach, now that there is no longer a watermelon in front of me. I love this support band. Buy it! I'm 5'9 and 225lb postpartum. I ordered the large and it is tight though that is the whole point. It really is quite comfortable. It helps with my back pain postpartum while I'm up walking around. I don't like wearing it while sitting though. | Tag: postpartum belly band bleeding

Price is really not a consideration when purchasing this I would have spent $200 on a worthwhile postpartum binder. This works way better than any expensive belt. I am 5'8 and there's no way a belly bandit wouldn't fit on me at all. This also targets your hips and upper abdominal's and really covers you exactly where you need it. It's fully adjustable and hugs to your body properly. I had a c sec and it's very comfortable and supportive. I notice less swelling after wearing it. I would say it's best used when you're up and about. It's hard to sit down in and I wouldn't want it pulling on my scar potentially making it larger. I will definitely be wearing this for the next six months postpartum. Yes the quality isnt amazing but you'd have to buy 4 or 5 of these to replace 1 belly bandit.
