Runs a bit small in my experience, however as you begin to shrink after giving birth that's probably a good thing. I wore it pretty religiously during the day from week 2 on and it really helped me feel supported. I was able to stand and move around better with it. I had a vaginal delivery, but am experiencing a good deal of lower back pain so this is a great thing to have. Not sure that it helped with slimming down faster or at all, but it certainly makes me feel supported. If you wear it under a loose top you could wear it out. I think this is too short from chest to abdomen. After a pregnancy you would be expected to have extra flab/skin and the area this corset covers is fairly narrow, unless you are very petite. If you place it to your panty line like the picture shows, it just pushes the extra fat and skin up towards your bra line, which is very uncomfortable. I could not use this until about week 6 post-partum until I had lost a bit of my tummy and it still feels like I'm having to constantly adjust this because it doesn't stay in position throughout the day. | Tag: postpartum wrap australia

The first time I ordered this product it was in a medium. Upon opening the package the first thing I noticed was a small red stain on the outside part of the product. It looked like a drop of blood. I was pretty grossed out but also disappointed because the product itself seemed great. The material was light weight and seemed comfortable. Before putting it back in the bag, I tried it on to see if the size even fit, and it didn't. I reordered in a large and that one fits perfectly. The new one came with zero stains on it and I am satisfied with the product. It sucks everything in nicely and helped relieve the pain from my csection incision. My back instantly relaxed when I put it on, and my posture is much better when nursing, which means less shoulder aches. All in all horrible first experience but great product. | Tag:

Original review: I can only give it 4 stars because I haven't tried it yet, but it is made better than the Belly Bandit. I purchased the Bandit for my first pregnancy and hated how it was so thick, bunched up, and was so hot. This is thin and breathable fabric. This one is similar to the post partum belt sold at babies r us. The Tirain belt is adjustable as your stomach goes down. With the bandit, you have to buy 2 sizes as you lose inches. I used this for post full tummy tuck after my 2nd week. It worked perfectly for what I needed it for. Much more comfortable then the rap they send you home from the hospital with. The extra pelvic support is amazing. It just gives you so many more options than the one belt. |
