Definitely helps you look slim and smoothed! Wear your undies OVER it though, it's very tight and so shimmying into it in a bathroom is not going to go over smoothly. The crotch up out is sufficiently large as long as you aren't stupid like me and put the undies on first. Only knocking it down a star because the seam in the front where you hook the waist part shows as a ridge through clothing. As long as you don't try to do anything too fitted on the tummy, you'll look great! I'll start by saying I was skeptical, and that I wear XL/2X & size 20 jeans...I ordered the 3XL thinking I'd be able to sit. After 15 mins, I finally got it all the way on & buckled in...I was sweating & out of breath! It smoothed a few dresses & a shirt I put on, but I couldn't sit down. Purchased this support after the birth of my second child. This really sucked in my tummy. I am 6ft tall and weigh about 195. I normally wear a size 14 and I ordered a Large. It does do its job. I wouldn't want to wear this for more then a couple hours since I'm not use to the tight feeling. But I will order another color since it worked out. I gave it a 4 because I was having problems with the back top part. It kept wanting to flip over. A bit tighter than expected (I bought the recommended size for my dimensions) and the top rolls down while I'm wearing it, giving an unattractive bulge where it rides down. I'm better off not wearing it, considering all the hassle for questionable results. Also, I wore it to an outdoor party in the summer and inevitably got a little sweaty - then I couldn't get it up after going to the bathroom (had to get some help). I don't expect my undergarments to require assistance. |

Great body shaper! I just had a baby 2 months ago via c-section and I have a hernia in my belly button. I needed something to support my belly and keep my hernia inside until I can have surgery. This shaper did the trick. Not to mention the added benifit of looking slimmer. Follow the measurements exactly to buy the right size. Also keep in mind it's supposed to be tight this is not something you just slip on. It's a compression garment. I bought a large, Xtra large, and xxlarge, to accommodate weight loss.
