Bought this to wear post partum and it is absolutely amazing. Quality material and comfortable wear. I bought one in XL, to wear right after birth and one in M to wear as I get back into shape. This is just as shown, and really good postpartum girdle, but breathable material. Its definitely a tiny bit bulky but with the stomach binding it does its worth it. This seems to really help "keep things in". It's hard to say if out runs small since I just had a baby things are a little swollen still but I ordered a size larger than I normally willing have & it worked. They are thick but you want it to cover most of your belly so sitting with it tight isn't very comfortable. Original review: I can only give it 4 stars because I haven't tried it yet, but it is made better than the Belly Bandit. I purchased the Bandit for my first pregnancy and hated how it was so thick, bunched up, and was so hot. This is thin and breathable fabric. This one is similar to the post partum belt sold at babies r us. The Tirain belt is adjustable as your stomach goes down. With the bandit, you have to buy 2 sizes as you lose inches.
