I ordered an 8-10 and a 10-12 to see which would fit better. I am small in the waist but large in the hips and thigh. I am 5'5 170 pounds. When the package arrived, the seller had actually sent me 2 of the 10-12 and 0 8-10 but I'm not even mad. After trying on the 10-12, I realize I would have NEVER gotten the smaller size over my hips and since the waist on this is adjustable, I am able to cinch the waist so the larger size fits me correctly all the way around. So, now I have two that fit and I don't have to return anything. I initially really liked this wrap, and how I am able to put it on myself, always able to adjust it as my body shrinks down after a c-section. Mine cane with two sets of instructions, which seemed to contradict each other as far as which piece to wear in the first week. I ended up wearing the wrong one to start with, but it still gave me support. I'm now wearing two pieces during the day and three pieces at night. The item is actually made of two layers around the waist, and this means they slide against each other when you move. It's great when you're wearing it, and super comfortable, but it also means that when you're trying to pull it up, it gets a little slippery.
